Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for The Ren Apartments in Brookhaven, GA. The role leads the maintenance team and coordinates with the centralized maintenance manager to schedule work and manage vendor relations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in multifamily maintenance, strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair skills, and is HVAC/CPO certified. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Possession of CPO certification may be required.
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
• Proficient with computers and property software.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance may be required.
• Experience with Yardi, Entrata and HappyCo preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and direct maintenance work to address resident service requests and preventative tasks.
• Assist make-ready activities for vacant homes and coordinate with the maintenance manager and vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and manage orders and repairs per policy.
• Complete documentation for service requests and inspections promptly and accurately.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and basic repairs as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and following safety policies.
