Job summary

Fogelman is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for Meridian Park Apartments in Collierville, near Memphis. You will supervise the maintenance team and coordinate work with vendors to keep buildings and common areas safe and well maintained.

Requirements include 5+ years in multifamily maintenance, proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair, EPA Type 1/II or Universal, and experience with Yardi, Entrata or HappyCo. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) may be required
• Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair
• Proficient with computers and online applications
• Knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred
• Driver's license and auto insurance may be required

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and direct maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance
• Assist in make-ready process for vacant units and pre-move-out inspections
• Manage materials and inventory, track usage, and reorder supplies
• Complete documentation and paperwork for service requests
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed
• Support cost-containment by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies, including weekend work
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in safety training and meetings
• Oversee contractor work to verify quality and compliance
• Conduct periodic property inspections and communicate needs to management
• Maintain positive communications with residents, vendors, and staff
