Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site role at one of our apartment communities. You will uphold the property's physical integrity, ensure a clean, safe living environment, and mentor maintenance staff.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in multifamily maintenance, strong leadership, know lease forms and Fair Housing, and experience with OneSite or Yardi and MS Office. Weekend availability and a rotating on-call schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of lease forms, Fair Housing laws, and the Property Code.
• Proficient in property management software (OneSite/Yardi) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and tools; ensure tools are in good condition.
• Monitor and correct hazardous conditions across the property.
• Identify and label utility cutoffs and sewer cleanouts; maintain property maps.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a safety-first culture.
• Approve service requests and oversee completion with hands-on support as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of the maintenance budget and obtain approvals for major expenses.
• Ensure resident service is prompt and move-in/move-out inspections are conducted.
