Job summary

Mark-Taylor, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Facilities and Service (Maintenance Supervisor) at The Astor at Osborn in Phoenix, AZ.

You will lead a team of Service Technicians and Facilities Technicians, perform hands-on maintenance, and ensure community upkeep while delivering five-star service to residents. The role requires 1+ year as a maintenance supervisor for multifamily, strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and OSHA standards, plus relevant certifications

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a maintenance supervisor for multifamily.
• Advanced knowledge: Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA standards.
• One or more industry certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or similar).
• Service orientation and basic computer skills.
• Three or more years' experience as Maintenance Technician, Apartment Turn Technician, Service Technician, Make-Ready Technician, or Work Order Technician.
• Basic written and spoken English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers.
• Perform hands-on maintenance to maintain and enhance community value.
• Inspect and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and other systems.
• Manage Make-Ready/Turn Board and daily inventory to support leasing.
• Schedule contractors and vendors as needed.
• Inspect for safety hazards and correct them.
• Share on-call duties and be available after hours in uniform.
• Complete Weekly Service Report and follow safety protocols.
• Train and mentor service staff and maintain records of preventive maintenance.
• Maintain excellent resident and team rapport.
• Oversee capital projects from bidding to execution.
