Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate in Atlanta, GA seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a property maintenance team and oversee repairs, safety, and preventive maintenance. You will supervise contractors, manage service requests, and ensure high customer service standards while maintaining property quality and budget discipline.

The role requires leadership, hands-on trade skills, and strong communication to support residents and property operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience.
• EPA certification Type II required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance; provide own vehicle.
• Other licenses and certifications as required by local, state or federal law.
• Basic hand tools supplied by the employee; equipment used includes hand tools, ladders, HVAC equipment, refrigerant recovery units and landscaping equipment.
• Must be able to use general maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sheetrock.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team and supervise associates and outside contractors.
• Assist Property Manager in delivering Peak Simply Service Standards.
• Prioritize and assign service requests; monitor completion and follow up on outstanding items.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and facilities daily to maintain curb appeal and minimize liability.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and energy-saving measures to extend asset life.
• Manage maintenance inventory within budget guidelines.
• Direct workers to perform scheduled maintenance and turn-related repairs within budget.
• Prepare vacant units for marketing through restoration and cleaning.
• Address resident and employee concerns promptly and professionally.
