Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee an apartment community in Atlanta. Responsibilities include hands-on repairs, supervising staff and contractors, and maintaining safety and curb appeal.

You will manage service requests, inventory, and preventive maintenance while ensuring high resident satisfaction. The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in multifamily housing, EPA Type II certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in multifamily industry preferred.
• EPA Type II certification required; CPO preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance; personal vehicle required.
• Basic hand tools required.
• Ability to diagnose problems and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and sheetrock.
• Experience with safety standards and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Spend 60–70% of time on hands-on repairs; remaining time supervising and managing vendors.
• Assist Property Manager with excellent resident service per Peak standards.
• Prioritize service requests, monitor completion, and follow up on items.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and features to maintain curb appeal and minimize liabilities.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and energy-saving measures.
• Manage maintenance inventory within budget; ensure proper shop organization.
• Lead safety programs and training; conduct monthly unit inspections.
• Assist residents with move-in/move-out; oversee turnover and vacants prep.
• Direct turnout-related maintenance and vendor activities within budget.
