Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager to lead multifamily construction projects from inception through closeout in Minneapolis. You will develop budgets, schedules, and forecasts, coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and performance management.

The role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience managing multifamily or large residential construction projects.
• Ground-up multifamily developments preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
• Procore, Bluebeam or similar PM software experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through project completion.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and execution.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and performance management.
• Monitor project financial performance, including cost control, change management, and forecasting.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Lead project meetings, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and provide regular project updates.
• Collaborate closely with field leadership, including Superintendents, to ensure efficient project execution.
• Identify risks and proactively implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Support successful project closeout, including punch list completion, turnover, and documentation.
