Job summary

Harper & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent for Maryland's Eastern Shore project sites. You will oversee all construction phases from start up through punch-out, coordinating subcontractors and on-site personnel to meet schedule and quality expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, proactive problem solving, and a sharp eye for detail, with a track record in commercial renovations or multi-family projects. A clean driving record and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction; 3+ years in a Project Superintendent role.
• Preference for multi-family and commercial renovation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction from start up through punch out.
• Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Read and comprehend project specifications, drawings, and drawing details.
• Anticipate building conflicts and problems and proactively solve.
• Report to the Project Manager issues and request materials/subcontractors.
• Maintain a safe and clean project site.
• Develop and communicate project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors/vendors.
• Interface with project owners, inspectors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
• Coordinate and schedule multiple subcontractors to work efficiently on-site.
• Verify that work meets plans, specs, and approved submittals.
• Keep project log and hourly time reports.
