Job summary

Cherokee Millwright is seeking a Multi‑Craft Millwright Foreman to lead a field crew in our operations. You will plan schedules, assign work, read blueprints, align machines, and oversee dismantling, installation, and commissioning of equipment while maintaining safety on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 4–5 years of related experience. You’ll mentor workers, monitor performance, manage inventories, and ensure quality workmanship in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent; related experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings.
• Strong supervisory and training skills to mentor a crew.

Responsibilities

• Plan schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on priority and resources.
• Monitor crew performance and work levels to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain a safe job site by overseeing tool/part Inventories and safety practices.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to determine procedures for installations and repairs.
• Dismantle, move, assemble, and align equipment using hand tools, hoists, and forklifts.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and mentor team members on safety and craft skills.
