Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have thorough knowledge of MRI and be ARRT or ARMRIT registered.
• CPR certification from AHA/BLS required.
• Ability to instruct students and supervise staff in MRI procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including complex imaging under supervision.
• Lead and mentor radiology students and technologists.
• Provide on-the-job instruction and participate in in-service training.
• Handle clerical tasks like inventory, statistics, and equipment checks.
• Ensure safety with magnetic fields per MRI guidelines.
• Assume charge responsibility in the absence of the MRI Manager.
• Direct and review work, conduct performance appraisals and QA.
