Job summary

Rhode Island Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform complex imaging procedures and lead a team under minimal supervision. The role includes supervising technologists, guiding students, and ensuring safe operation of MRI equipment within the Radiology department.

You will participate in on-the-job instruction, assist in department administration, and maintain high standards of patient care while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT or ARMRIT registration in good standing.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and advanced MRI applications.
• Current CPR certification (AHA, BLS Healthcare Providers).
• Thorough knowledge of MRI procedures and equipment; ability to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Lead MRI procedures and guide technologists in routine and complex imaging.
• Instruct Radiology students and staff in clinical procedures within area of responsibility.
• Perform clerical tasks such as inventory, statistics, and equipment checks; ensure safety with strong magnetic fields.
