Job summary

Odyssey Logistics & Technology in Fairbanks seeks a Mover Packer Crew Leader to guide the crew, perform loading and unloading, and deliver freight to customer locations within the greater Fairbanks area.

The role is onsite with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential OT/weekends. Requirements include a valid Class D license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and prior box-truck experience. Reports to Dispatch Manager; pay starts at $25.00/hr with negotiable higher pay for military packing experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience driving a box truck.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Class D driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Prior military packing experience preferred; training may be provided.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read and write in English and understand traffic signs.

Responsibilities

• Operates a box truck in compliance with local/state codes and company procedures.
• Lead the crew per job assignment and communicate with dispatcher/office.
• Manage packing, loading/unloading, and delivery to various locations in the Fairbanks area.
• Ensure proper load securing and use of equipment to prevent damage or injury.
• Train and guide team members to complete jobs professionally and on time.
• Ensure site cleanup and return of tools to ARS warehouse.
