Job summary

Odyssey Logistics in Anchorage, AK seeks a Mover Packer Crew Leader to lead a small crew on freight handling and delivery assignments. You will drive to job sites, assist packing/unpacking, load and unload freight, and coordinate with the dispatcher while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires supervisory capacity for 1–4 staff, a valid Class D license, ability to lift 75 lbs, and compliance with FHWA and company rules. Expect a full-time, hourly position with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class D driver's license and a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Able to read and write English and read traffic signs per FHWA regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively with management, customers and the public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and communicate with dispatch.
• Current DMV report.
• Able to obtain an ICC medical card.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles in compliance with traffic codes and company procedures.
• Maintain a professional attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Adhere to schedules and delivery requirements for Odyssey International Services Inc./ARS and customers.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure repairs are completed.
• Secure loads to prevent shifting during transit.
• Use proper equipment for loading/unloading freight.
• Lead and supervise 1–4 crew members.
• Train and guide team to complete jobs professionally and on time.
