Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Process Technician for its Gaffney, SC facility. Base pay is $25.00 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday 3pm–11pm. Benefits start day 1, with on‑demand pay and weekly pay.

The role trains Mold Technicians and Setters, troubleshoots molding processes, and ensures safe, efficient operation on the floor. Candidates should be able to perform mold setups and preventive maintenance. Safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of injection molding presses.
• Good knowledge of all plastic materials and resins.
• Must be able to pass Process Technician knowledge assessment.
• Good human relations – ability to work closely with others.
• Knowledge of mold design and layout (Mold venting & cooling systems).
• Able to perform under any given working conditions.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Successfully complete LOTO Authorized Training.
• Successfully complete Crane and Rigging Authorized Training.
• Successfully complete Forklift Authorized Training.

Responsibilities

• Train Mold Technicians and Mold Setters on best practices.
• Communicate improvements to Group Leader and employees.
• Be a positive, problem‑solving leader on the floor.
• Troubleshoot machines and plastics processes per standard work.
• Install molds, set up processes, and ensure first piece inspection.
• Maintain tool and equipment readiness and preventive maintenance.
• Identify molding issues and coordinate root-cause analysis with engineers.
• Follow safety policies and promote a safe work environment.
