Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts seeks a Monarch Lounge Lead Bartender for Hilton Milwaukee’s Monarch Lounge. You will deliver exceptional beverage service in an elevated lounge setting, utilizing strong mixology skills and in-depth wine/spirits knowledge.

Join a property that recently underwent a $40 million renovation and connects to the Baird Center. The role emphasizes guest interaction, adherence to liquor regulations, and opportunities to grow within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

At least two years of bartending or bar service in a fine dining outlet.
Must be available to work weekend nights.
Excellent communication and hospitality knowledge.
Strong wine, spirits and beer knowledge with vintages and regions awareness.
Must obtain government-required licenses; Bartending certificate required; TIPS certification.
Basic math for cash handling, totals, and portions sizes.
Proficient in English for guest interaction and requisitions.

Responsibilities

Set up and stock the bar daily with beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
Maintain stock and garnishes to ensure quality.
Greet guests, take orders, mix and present drinks per recipes and portion controls.
Serve food at the bar and assist with table service as needed.
Understand the full menu, wine list, ingredients, prep, and service.
Efficiently use POS and manage bar inventory.
