Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Monarch Lounge Lead Bartender for Hilton Milwaukee’s Monarch Lounge. The role focuses on delivering elevated Food & Beverage service, crafting drinks to standard recipes, and maintaining a top-tier guest experience in an art-deco lounge.

Requirements include 2+ years of fine-dining bartending, weekend availability, wine/spirits/beer knowledge, and a current bartending certificate. Growth opportunities and competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of bartending or bar service experience in a fine dining outlet.
• Must be available to work weekend nights.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer; able to recite vintages and regions.
• Must obtain government-required licenses or certificates; bartending certificate required; TIPS certification.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and check totals.
• Proficient in English for guest communication; basic writing for requisitions and vouchers.
• Manual dexterity for garnishes, glassware, and bottles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the bar daily with beer, wine, spirits, and bar supplies.
• Maintain stock and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greet guests, take orders, mix and present drinks per recipes.
• Serve food at bar and assist in dining areas when needed.
• Understand menu and wine list; manage inventory and POS transactions.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and ensure guest safety.
• Perform cleaning and health-standard tasks.
