Job summary

Marcus Milwaukee Hilton is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team. Responsibilities include setting up and stocking the bar, preparing drinks to standard recipes, and serving guests alongside food service when needed.

Candidates must have at least two years in fine dining bartending, a bartending certificate, and TIPS certification. Proficiency in English, cash handling, and POS usage is required. This role offers union-based, hourly employment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending or bar service experience in a fine dining outlet.
• Must be available to work weekend nights.
• Excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.
• High level knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer; recite vintages and regions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the bar daily with beer, wine, spirits, and bar supplies.
• Maintain stock and fresh garnishes; ensure quality of ingredients.
• Greet guests, take orders, mix and present drinks per recipes.
• Serve food at the bar and take tables when needed.
• Understand menu, wine list, ingredients, preparation, and service.
• Efficiently use POS and manage bar inventory.
• Handle cash transactions and balance checks.
• Perform general cleaning to meet health standards.
