Job summary

Thomasville Restoration is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician in Baltimore, MD to join our Mid-Atlantic team. You will respond to service calls, perform mitigation tasks, and support Crew Chiefs and field technicians to protect homes after disasters.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in disaster restoration, with 2+ years in water mitigation preferred. A valid driver’s license is required and IICRC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year disaster restoration experience.
• 2+ years water mitigation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• IICRC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls as needed.
• Perform mitigation services following Thomasville Restoration guidelines.
• Support Crew Chiefs, field technicians, and other production personnel.
• Communicate with Crew Chiefs and technicians to ensure customer needs are met.
• Monitor all assigned jobs to ensure drying standards and customer requirements are achieved.
• Complete work according to the Crew Chief’s scope of services.
• Supervise production technicians and temporary laborers.
• Train production technicians on processes, IICRC standards, equipment maintenance, and customer service.
• Assist Crew Chiefs with managing production direct costs.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to qualifying events as required.
• Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas.
• Take initiative and identify ways to improve efficiency.
• Handle recurring and unique tasks as business needs require.
