Job summary

Thomasville Restoration is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician to support our disaster restoration efforts across the Mid-Atlantic. You will lead field personnel, ensure drying standards and customer satisfaction, and help protect homes and businesses after disasters.

The role requires 1 year disaster restoration experience (2+ years water mitigation preferred), a valid driver’s license, and IICRC certification is a plus. Join a team dedicated to family-first values and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of disaster restoration experience required.
• 2+ years of water mitigation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• IICRC certification preferred.
• Able to lead, train, and supervise field personnel.
• Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls as needed.
• Perform mitigation services following Thomasville Restoration guidelines.
• Support Crew Chiefs, field technicians, and other production personnel.
• Communicate with Crew Chiefs and technicians to ensure customer needs are met.
• Monitor all assigned jobs to ensure drying standards and customer requirements are achieved.
• Complete work according to the Crew Chief’s scope of services.
• Supervise production technicians and temporary laborers.
• Train production technicians on processes, IICRC standards, equipment maintenance, and customer service.
• Assist Crew Chiefs with managing production direct costs.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to qualifying events as required.
• Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas.
• Take initiative and identify ways to improve efficiency.
• Handle recurring and unique tasks as business needs require.
