Job summary

RTX's Effectors PG&C Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Missile Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer to help evaluate, design, implement, and integrate embedded software algorithms for 6-DoF simulations and flight software. You will work with an integrated product team responsible for tactical software, firmware, and simulations to meet overall performance requirements.

The role is onsite in Tucson, AZ and requires ability to obtain interim Secret clearance,

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• GNC, Signal Processing and/or Modeling/Simulation experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented programming.

Responsibilities

• Development, integration, and testing of embedded tactical missile flight code.
• Definition and execution of system level performance studies and analyses to inform development and integration.
• Work within an agile framework to lead backlogs, plans, and metrics.
• Provide guidance to train new engineers and improve program efficiency.
• Support missile performance analysis including model development and Monte Carlo assessments.
