Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies in Carrollton, GA is seeking a staff-level Millwright Superintendent for 100% on-site work. Initial orientation will occur in Overland Park, KS.

Candidates with union experience are strongly preferred; prior millwright superintendent exposure is highly valued. The role involves interfacing with direct hire supervision, subcontractors, and field engineers to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience on union projects and knowledge of Local Union agreements.
• Ability to stand in for the construction manager when requested.
• Proven capability to mentor and train other discipline superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Manager in enforcing safety, quality, and ethical standards on site.
• Monitor CPM schedule, track progress, and report on schedule activities.
• Resolve issues with drawings, information, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Monitor productivity, progress, and cost and report to project controls.
• Maintain daily site log and manage timesheets, quantities, and progress payments.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and craft supervisors to ensure on-site productivity and compliance.
