Job summary

Omega Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Millwright Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on a client job site, ensuring safe, profitable, and efficient execution.

You will supervise foreman, crew, and subcontractors while coordinating with project managers and owners to meet schedules and quality standards. The role requires extensive field leadership, hands-on planning, and thorough knowledge of millwright trades, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Class C driver’s license or better.
• Manlift training
• Fall protection training
• Confined Space training
• First Aid, CPR, AED training
• General computer skills required.
• Ability to pass generic ergonomics test commensurate to construction trades.
• Available for work and will answer calls, 24-7-365, no excuses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee job site activities and supervise foreman, leadman, craft laborers and apprentices.
• Meet with customers and owners, conduct job discovery walks and discuss problem solving solutions.
• Communicate with management to promote effective teamwork and project flow.
• Present required documents, timecards, inspection reports, bills of lading, QC articles, and as-built drawings; act as PM on smaller jobs when needed.
• Assist the PM by planning day-to-day activities and resources; verify efficient use of resources.
• Organize schedules, meetings, and review project documents; coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and owners.
• Control progress to meet timelines and schedules; estimate materials, resources, and labor.
• Demonstrate leadership; be present at job sites and participate in QC and safety audits.
• Mentor staff and ensure safety training and policy compliance.
