Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a skilled millwright to plan, lay out, and perform all mechanical equipment setting and maintenance in line with plans, specs, codes, and industry standards. Duties may include working across crafts as needed, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The role requires reading drawings, following specifications, and strong trade knowledge, with a focus on producing precise, efficient work in industrial/construction environments.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand drawings, specs, safety and quality standards and use all relevant trade tools.
• Minimum experience: 3 years (level I), 4 (level II), 5 (level III) and 6+ (Sr) in industrial/construction industries with millwright trade understanding.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Share knowledge with others and teach.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting and rework.
• Maintain proficiency in trade mathematics.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans.
