Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Millwright to repair, maintain, and install industrial equipment across manufacturing operations. You will read blueprints, disassemble, reassemble, and move equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors, in varied conditions.

Candidate must understand machinery operations, utilize tools and welding equipment, and follow OSHA and company safety programs. Ability to read schematics and work in diverse environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use a variety of tools, which may include blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
• Thorough and broad understanding of a variety of equipment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety practices, guidelines, rules, and laws.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment such as power generators, turbines, mining devices, assembly line machinery, and machinist tools.
• Uses hand tools, hoists, jacks, spud wrenches, micrometers, laser alignment and power tools to assemble, install, align, and adjust piping, valves, pumps, and other various equipment.
• Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines.
• Dismantling of existing connected and independent equipment.
• Gathers and assembles parts for repairs or modifications based on blueprints.
• Troubleshoots and repairs machines including when unexpected issues arise.
