Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Mill Operator to operate mill equipment for steel pipe production under supervision. You will follow safety policies, read blueprints, weld and splice pipe, and help breakdown coils while maintaining 5S and housekeeping.

Strong attention to detail and ability to read instructions, use precision measuring tools, and communicate issues to supervision are essential. Prior mill operator experience is preferred; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred mill operator experience in steel production.
• Current FCAW 2G/3G and SMAW 2G/3G/7018 certificates preferred; tests may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate mill equipment for steel pipe production.
• Weld and splice pipe and break down coils.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain 5S housekeeping.
