Job summary

National Grid seeks a Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer to lead the Content and Collaboration portfolio across SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, and Power Platform. You will partner with Architecture, Security, and Operations to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions.

This role offers hybrid work across multiple NY/MA locations, with a focus on modernization, automation, governance, and adoption of AI-enabled productivity capabilities, including Copilot.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 5+ years supporting or engineering Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Power Platform exposure.
• Experience with PowerShell or scripting, API integration, or platform automation.
• Experience with source control and modern engineering practices (GitHub, pipelines, testing, change management).
• Experience in Agile or product-oriented delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for Microsoft 365 Content, Collaboration, Digital Productivity, and AI-enabled workplace capabilities.
• Collaborate with vendors, partners, operations, architects, and delivery teams to drive short-term improvements and long-term platform strategy.
• Design, engineer, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 services within the Content and Collaboration portfolio.
• Drive platform roadmaps balancing business needs with scalability, security, and supportability.
• Design automation solutions using Graph, Power Platform, scripting, and APIs to improve efficiency.
