Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer to lead and shape the strategy for Content and Collaboration across SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, Power Platform, Copilot, and related services.

You will partner with IT stakeholders to design scalable, secure user-centric solutions, drive modernization, automation, and governance, and ensure seamless service delivery in a hybrid work environment across NY/MA regions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years supporting or engineering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
Experience with SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive and Power Platform.
Experience with PowerShell, API integration, or platform automation.
Experience with GitHub, version control, automation pipelines, testing and change management.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and technical leadership for Microsoft 365 Content, Collaboration, Digital Productivity, and AI-enabled workplace capabilities.
Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 services and initiatives across the Content and Collaboration portfolio.
Drive platform roadmaps balancing current needs with security, scalability, and supportability.
Collaborate with Architecture, Product Owners, Security, Operations and delivery teams to ensure a secure, reliable end-user experience.
Evaluate emerging technologies and Microsoft roadmap capabilities for modernization and automation.
Design and implement automation using Graph, Power Platform, scripting, and APIs.
