Job summary
Northrop Grumman's Microelectronics Center in Linthicum, MD seeks a Microelectronics Process Engineer to lead tool selection, recipe development, validation and maintenance of automation equipment at the Advanced Technology Lab. The role supports stand‑up and maturation of a new microelectronics line.
Responsibilities include optimizing hardware/software integration for electrical testing, performing tool qualifications, sustaining production, and collaborating with Test and Equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with relevant experience.
- Experience with semiconductor fab and test operations.
- Experience purchasing manufacturing capital equipment tools.
- Experience with microelectronics assembly and/or circuit card assembly (CCA) manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Drive tool selection, recipe development, validation and maintenance of automation equipment.
- Optimize hardware/software integration for electrical testing and production sustainment.
- Develop and execute process/equipment improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Test Engineering and Equipment Engineering groups; perform tool qualifications and preventive maintenance.
