Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Microelectronics Director to lead cross-functional teams in advancing microelectronic manufacturing technology. The role requires strong program management, customer engagement, and strategic planning across multiple sites, including Linthicum, MD, with travel to customer and supplier locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of related experience or 8 years with Master’s.
• Minimum 8 years of management experience in Operations/Engineering/Functional/Program Management.
• Active U.S. Government Secret (or DoE equivalent) with ability to be granted a TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Draw on relationships with customer sets to understand long-term missions and strategic goals.
• Develop new business opportunities through long-term strategic planning, capture planning, and proposals.
• Develop and execute the long-term technology and process road map.
• Devise and implement strategies for growth of programs enterprise-wide.
• Negotiate contracts, Burns/budget specs, schedules, and key terms.
• Establish and manage the program baselines; measure and report performance.
• Coordinate risk and opportunity management with customers and internal teams.
• Manage suppliers to meet program objectives.
