Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Microelectronics Center at Space Park Foundry in Manhattan Beach, CA, seeks a Microelectronics Process Engineer to advance research, development, and production of advanced microelectronics in a fast-paced team setting.

You will develop and mature fabrication processes, collaborate across disciplines, and drive technology from R&D to production while mentoring junior engineers and delivering high-impact results.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in semiconductor device process design and troubleshooting.
• Direct experience in semiconductor process module development and integration into an entire process flow.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Owns process module development and integration for multi-module delivery.
• Improves process control and yield for existing semiconductor lines and nodes.
• Evaluates and qualifies new process tool capital acquisitions.
• Maintains cleanroom process modules and tools; uses SPC for monitoring and optimization.
• Collaborates across materials, products, and reliability engineers on module characterization.
• Mentors junior engineers and supports project execution.
