Turner Construction Company in Lima, OH is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to manage, evaluate, and oversee information related to mechanical and electrical systems on the project. You will ensure on-time delivery, safety, budget alignment, and contract quality, coordinating with the project team.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a minimum of four years of relevant experience. You will lead a team of engineers and coordinators, mentor staff, and drive RFI processing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum four years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems is essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead the project team, subcontractors, and owner representatives to ensure alignment and proper systems installation.
• Prepare and manage contract item lists to keep ROJ dates aligned with the schedule.
• Participate in schedule update meetings and provide up-to-date information.
• Evaluate and manage RFI processing.
• Oversee budget reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating change orders.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor junior engineers.
• Co-lead MEP coordination with VDC engineer ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
• Create scope of work documents and define divisions of responsibility.
• Collaborate with MEP Superintendent to resolve conflicts with site logistics and project schedule.
• Lead turnover process including start-up, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
