Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri seeks a Lead Mentor to organize group mentoring sessions within schools, coordinating with mentors, parents, and site staff. You will implement the program, track progress, and adapt activities based on feedback.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, collaboration with the Site Supervisor, and ensuring alignment with school policies while serving about 40 youth. This role is based primarily at school sites with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years related experience.
• Knowledge of K-12 school landscape.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with diverse youth and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize group mentoring sessions with mentors and school staff.
• Coordinate communication with parents/guardians and teachers.
• Maintain progress data and attendance in Matchforce or approved system.
• Attend weekly check-ins with Mentoring Site Supervisor and adapt program as needed.
• Develop mentoring curriculum and yearly/semester plans.
