Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. is seeking a Lead Mentor to oversee the ongoing monitoring of staff skills and knowledge at the assigned site. The role collaborates with leadership to ensure safety and effective training development across units.

The Lead Mentor supports the creation and oversight of unit training plans and ensures adherence to behavioral health and medical protocols within Arizona operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or higher preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in the health care field required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a training or education role preferred.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
• EMT certification (valid in AZ) is preferred but not required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification (AZ) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support skills/knowledge of staff at the site.
• Collaborate with Operations Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Director, and Clinical Manager to oversee safety practices and training needs.

Lead Mentor

Community Bridges, Inc. (CB I) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, physical health, medication-assistedd treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing, substance use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of both behavioral health and mental health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.

Job Summary

The Lead Mentor is responsible for the initial and ongoing monitoring of skills and knowledge of employees assigned to his or her site. Will work closely with the Operations Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Director, and Clinical Manager in monitoring each unit's safety practices and training needs. In this role the Lead Mentor will assist in the development and monitoring of each unit's training plan.

Skills/Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.


• 2-5 years of experience in the health care field required.


• 1-3 years of experience in a training or education role preferred.


• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.


• Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) ispreferred but not required for this position.


• Certified Nurse Assistant certification (current and valid within the State of Arizona) is preferred but not required of this position.
