Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Lead Mentor to oversee staff training and skill development at our Arizona sites.

You will monitor safety practices, work with the Operations Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Director, and Clinical Manager to assess training needs, and help develop and track unit training plans. The role emphasizes hands-on mentorship, coordinating recovery-focused care, and ensuring high-quality behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree or higher preferred.
• 2-5 years of health care experience required.
• 1-3 years in a training or education role preferred.
• Minimum six months recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and develop staff skills and knowledge at the assigned site.
• Collaborate with Operations Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Director and Clinical Manager on safety practices and training needs.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of unit training plans.

CBI is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of both behavioral health and mental health programs in Arizona, including prevention, education and treatment using cutting-edge, nationally recognized, evidence-based models.

Job Summary

The Lead Mentor is responsible for the initial and ongoing monitoring of skills and knowledge of employees assigned to his or her site. Will work closely with the Operations Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Director, and Clinical Manager in monitoring each unit’s safety practices and training needs. In this role the Lead Mentor will assist in the development and monitoring of each unit’s training plan.

Skills/Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in the health care field required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a training or education role preferred.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
• Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) is preferred but not required for this position.
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification (current and valid within the State of Arizona) is preferred but not required of this position.
