Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to support patients with rehabilitation and employment services across Arizona. The role involves vocational evaluation, job readiness training, skills building, and coordinating job placement referrals with the treatment team.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred), and one year of experience in behavioral health or medical fields. AZ driver license and clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in behavioral health or medical field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in behavioral health or medical field.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
• AZ Driver's License in good standing; valid license required.
• Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) per policy.
• Peer Certification (if applicable).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation services and employment-related support.
• Conduct vocational evaluation and assessment; deliver job readiness training and skills building.
• Assist patients with employment concerns in collaboration with the treatment team; arrange job placement referrals.

Employment Specialist

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, physical health, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing, substance use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Job Summary

An Employment Specialist is an individual who has one year of experience providing rehabilitation services and employment-related support. Employment Specialist provides work related services, including vocational evaluation and assessment, job readiness training, skills building, and job placement referrals. This position assists in addressing all of the employment concerns and needs of the patient in conjunction with the established treatment team.

Skills/Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in behavioral health or medical field preferred.

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in either the behavioral health or medical field required.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

• Current AZ Driver's License (valid and in good standing)
• Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
• Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
• Peer Certification (if applicable)
• Fingerprint Clearance Card
