Job summary

Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, MA seeks a Principal Systems Test Engineer to lead a 10–15 engineer integration and test effort for MEMS IMU system testing, including ESS, ATP, and System Qualification.

You will run morning meetings, deliver status to management, coordinate with test facilities, own test plans and procedures, and mentor operators while guiding risk mitigation and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 7-10 years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related role.
• Experience leading test operations in a production environment; familiarity with environmental test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage priorities, scope, schedule, and cost to baselines by monitoring performance.
• Derive system-level I&T requirements and develop test procedures for complex I&T problems.
• Mitigate I&T risks with customers and develop risk mitigation strategies.
