Job summary

Yoga Joint in Kendall, FL is seeking a Lead Member Experience Associate to elevate the studio guest experience and support daily operations. You will greet members, assist with check-in, and foster relationships while helping drive sales and ensuring a welcoming environment.

The role requires leadership potential, strong communication, and a passion for fitness. Full-time schedule includes early mornings and evenings, with benefits including complimentary yoga and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Customer service, hospitality, retail, fitness, or wellness experience preferred
• Previous sales experience is a plus
• Leadership, training, mentoring, or shift-lead experience preferred, but not required
• Entry-level candidates with strong leadership potential are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, dependable, and solutions-oriented approach
• Comfort balancing member service, sales, team support, and hands-on studio responsibilities
• Basic comfort using computers, tablets, and common technology
• Genuine interest in fitness, wellness, and creating a strong community experience

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting members and guests, supporting check-in, answering questions, and building genuine relationships
• Help ensure the studio consistently looks, sounds, smells, and feels clean, organized, professional, and aligned with Yoga Joint standards
• Serve as a shift leader for Member Experience Associates by providing guidance, support, and real-time coaching
• Help train and onboard new team members while reinforcing studio procedures and service expectations
• Lead by example through professionalism, positivity, accountability, and attention to detail
• Support membership sales by connecting with prospective members, identifying needs, and helping guests understand Yoga Joint membership options
• Assist with lead follow-up, new member conversion, retention efforts, and other studio sales priorities
• Help maintain clean and organized front desk, retail, changing, and studio spaces, including laundry and class turnover responsibilities
• Support opening, closing, and other day-to-day operational responsibilities
• Escalate member concerns or operational issues appropriately and help create positive resolutions
• Partner with studio leadership to support team performance, member experience, and studio goals
