Responsibilities

• Supervises GS-7 Lead Medical Support Assistants and GS-6 Medical Support Assistants (Advanced).
• Perform scheduling, cancellation, and re-scheduling of patient appointments and/or consults.
• Develop/maintain effective and efficient communication with the patient, interdisciplinary team, providers and education of policy and procedure.
• Record data into the electronic medical record involving all aspects of Imaging Service sections; reconcile view alerts.
