Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate from an accredited MLT or MLS program.
• Registered MLT or MLS with appropriate credentials (ASCP/NCAMLP/AMT/ASMT).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership creating a harmonious and effective department.
• Perform venipuncture on diverse patients with appropriate specimen handling.
• Accurately perform testing in all assigned departments.
• Conduct QC according to SOPs and document corrective actions.
• Review departmental quality control to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Train new employees or students as needed.
• Interact professionally with patients and staff across all ages.
