UCHealth in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to lead the UCHA Lab Chemistry team in the Leprino Building AMC during evening shifts. The role requires advanced knowledge of test methods, instrument maintenance, and QC.

You will supervise staff, coordinate workflow, and ensure timely results. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or MLS, state licensure as required, MT/MLS certification, and at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Scientist program and graduation.
• State licensure as required by law. Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
• 2 years of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and reference ranges for test methods and instruments; performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting; participates in development of new testing procedures.
• Provides monitoring, coaching and evaluation of team members' performance in productivity and quality management.
• Coordinates services, prioritizes assignments and workflow, and promotes situational decision-making.
