Aurora Health Care is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLS to perform and evaluate laboratory tests across multiple departments. You will monitor workflow, ensure accurate reporting of results, and maintain instrument calibration and quality control in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires completing maintenance, training staff, and contributing to process improvements while adhering to accreditation standards and safety policies.

• Flexible schedule, may include alternate site assignment.

Responsabilités

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests within established protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports results.
• Performs calibration, maintenance and repair of instruments; detects malfunctions.
• Reviews quality control and quality assurance per protocol and takes corrective action.
• Labels and collects specimens from newborn, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Provides training and technical assistance to staff and students.
