Qualifications

• Performs QC and complex patient testing.
• Maintains competency in routine, 'specials' and assigned laboratory areas.
• Correctly uses supplies and reagents and assists in inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance monitoring and process improvement participation.
• Acts as trainer, mentor and consultant for staff and students.
• Leads workflow and staffing during shifts to ensure timely results.
• Ensures compliance with safety guidelines and department policies.
• Documents instrument maintenance and troubleshooting steps.
