MarinHealth is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to supervise and train the medical assisting team across the practice. The role focuses on ensuring efficient patient flow, effective communication with clinicians, and maintaining exam room readiness.

The Lead MA will coordinate scheduling, manage supplies and vaccines, and support clinicians with APeX and other EMR tasks. Strong leadership, reliability, and a patient‑centered approach are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program such as NHA and AMCA is required or higher licensure.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• 5+ years of medical assisting experience, with progressive team leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Direct day-to-day supervision of the medical assisting team.
• Train and sign off competency for MAs in collaboration with Clinical Operations.
• Coordinate MA workflow to improve clinic efficiency and communication.
• Manage supply orders, vaccines, and injectables; monitor inventory and budgets.
• Oversee room turnover, equipment Setup, and cleaning schedules.
• Assist in hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes for MA staff.
