Upperline Health is seeking an energetic Medical Assistant to support physicians in delivering clinical and administrative tasks in the Southaven, MS clinic.

Ideal candidates have podiatry or orthopedic experience and X-ray experience, with strong EMR skills (Athenahealth) and a commitment to team-based, value-driven care.

Formación

• Previous Medical Assistant experience
• Podiatry or Orthopedic clinic experience preferred
• X-ray experience is a plus
• Clinical care coordination or care management experience is ideal
• EMR experience (Athenahealth) preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Place patients in exam rooms and prepare them for physician visits
• Complete exam intake and review medical history
• Take vitals and document in Athenahealth EMR
• Assist in exams and take X-rays as required
• Perform daily administrative tasks and maintain exam rooms
• Clean and sterilize exam and X-ray rooms
• Coordinate care and referrals for Upperline Plus patients
• Travel to surrounding area clinics to provide support if needed
