CALRegional is seeking a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor in Petaluma, CA. The role supports aspiring healthcare professionals through an 8-10 week CMA program with a rotating on-site/remote hybrid schedule. Classes run Monday-Thursday from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.

CPR certification and 5 years of MA/related field experience are required. No prior teaching experience is necessary. We offer generous pay between $30 and $34 per hour, plus opportunities for bonuses, raises, and

Qualifikationen

• 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a directly related field.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office experience.
• Back-office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BPs, Temps, Injections, Adult-Pediatric, minor wound trays, and bandaging experience.
• No teaching experience required.
• Must be energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately.
• Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.

• Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
• Assist in student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
• Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
• Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor.
• Grade class assignments and exams.
