Job summary

CALRegional in Vallejo, CA is seeking a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor to join Vallejo High School partnership. You will deliver instruction aligned with course outlines, support student outcomes, and maintain current clinical knowledge.

No teaching experience required; must have 5 years MA experience, CPR, and comfort with technology. Flexible Tue/Wed/Thu afternoon slots and a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related field.
• Career Technical Education or similar teaching credential preferred.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office experience; back office procedures and patient care.
• No teaching experience required.
• Must be energetic and deliver instruction passionately.
• Ability to mentor students and uphold program standards.
• Comfortable with computers and technology.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Advance student learning through instruction per course outline.
• Assist in student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge in subject matter and teaching methods.
• Maintain professionalism and conduct.
• Facilitate required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor.
• Grade class assignments and exams.
