Job summary

CALRegional is seeking a part-time Clinical Medical Assistant Lead Instructor in Roseville, CA to support 8-10 week programs. The role requires experienced clinical background and the ability to mentor students, with no teaching experience required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or related field required.
• Familiar with A&P, Medical Terminology, Basic Pharmacology and Medical Math.
• Front office experience; back-office procedures EKG, Urine, Vitals, BP, Temps, Injections, adult-pediatric care.
• Current CPR certification; comfortable with computers and technology.
• Highly organized, detail oriented; able to mentor students and hold to program standards.

Responsibilities

• Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
• Assist in student learning outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
• Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
• Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor
• Grade class assignments and exams.
