Job summary

Denova Collaborative Health LLC is seeking a Lead Medical Assistant to supervise the clinic floor, train staff, and ensure smooth patient flow. This onsite role covers management of MAs and PES, with a focus on improving operations and preserving a high standard of patient care.

You will oversee staff readiness, perform performance evaluations, and resolve patient concerns promptly, escalating only when necessary to the clinic manager.

Qualifications

• MA certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card
• 5+ years as Medical Assistant
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficient with EMR, billing software, insurance portals and spreadsheets
• Experience leading a team of 10+

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily clinic operations for MAs and PES
• Direct prioritization of clinic needs to ensure optimal patient care and workflow
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to MAs and PES
• Perform audits and evaluations to drive continuous improvement
• Address and resolve patient escalations before involving the clinic manager
