Vista Community Clinic in Vista, CA is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses by taking vitals, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting in procedures. You will lead lower level staff as needed and help maintain organized, efficient back-office operations.

Qualified candidates have CMA certification, CPR, phlebotomy credentials, and at least four years of back-office experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Clinical Medical Assistant Certification from an approved program.
• Minimum four years of back office experience.
• CPR Certification (BLS) for Child, Infant, Adult.
• Phlebotomy certification.

Responsabilités

• Take vital signs, height and weight; plot growth charts; record immunizations.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures; prepare patients for exams.
• Manage provider room assignments and stock rooms; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient flow and back office operations; ensure logs and temperature records are up to date.
• Provide translations as needed; communicate health information clearly.
