Job summary

Vista Community Clinic in Vista, CA is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to support clinicians, prep patients, and keep exam rooms ready. This role requires strong back-office skills and bilingual English/Spanish communication to serve a diverse patient base.

You will take vitals, document patient information, assist during examinations, perform basic lab tests, and help with scheduling and EMR data entry. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clinical Medical Assistant Certificate with externship verification of 6 months.
• Back-office MA experience may be substituted with externship.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Print and review schedule daily.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist clinicians.
• Take vital signs and record measurements.
• Perform basic lab tests (visual acuity, strep, pregnancy tests).
• Maintain electronic patient records and billing information.
• Provide language translation for clinician and patient as needed.

Skills

Bilingual English/Spanish

CPR/BLS certified

Phlebotomy experience

Back office procedures

MS Office / basic computer skills

Education
